I wasn't able to transfer audio to my hackintosh, but I don't think that has anything to do with this unit. I didn't try very hard either.
I keep it connected straight to my receiver and I appreciate the portability and small footprint. Now I'm testing the old quandary: is it possible to keep a record collection and a girlfriend at the same time?

They substituted for another turntable. It was a gift for my husband. He hated it! Tried to return but too much trouble. Also costs too much to send back. Won't make that mistake again.
