Editorial Reviews

From Library Journal

As a sequel to Kirschner Braun's popular Crafting Your Own Heritage Album (LJ 10/15/00), this book emphasizes layout and assembly of the family album, with tips and examples for incorporating family keepsakes into the pages. For example, using a technique borrowed from coin collectors, crafters can mount small, three-dimensional objects in memorabilia pockets to preserve them. The section on photographs and documents is up-to-date and quite valuable, offering information on restoration and digitizing. This book is remarkable for the amount and variety of information on dealing with family treasures that it contains. Genealogists will love it. Highly recommended for public libraries.
