Failed the first time used,

I got these to use in my backyard to hang a string hammock between 2 trees. After much work in trying to get it tight I sat in my hammock for the first time. Imagine my surprise when I ended up on the ground. The stitching had come completely undone! Since I had lost my packing slip, I couldn't return it.
Instead of these straps I went to the hardware store and bought ratcheting tie downs (the kind used to hold down stuff in the back of a pickup) 4/$10. Sure they left a really long tail but they were cheaper and I've had no problems all summer and I have 2 spares. I would be worried for anyone who is using this for camping.

Meh, they'e OK.,

These work reasonably well, but the design is flawed. The straps are right next to the buckle and only on one side of the strap. This limits how much slack you can have in the line. Hammock Bliss as a company seems to make sub-par stuff. These will probably serve as my backup straps. They are also starting to show some wear-and-tear despite relatively light use.
I would recommend Warbonnet, Hennessy, or Eno over these guys.
