Inspiring!,
This review is from: New From the Inside Out: How to Transform Your Mind and Your Life (Paperback)
I can be lucky enough to say I know Kim personally! With divine intervention she came into my life about three years ago. Since then, my life has not been the same. When I met her, I was at my lowest in many ways. My insides where crying out for help. Well, luckily somebody heard me because where I'am today is a person I've always dreamed to be. Kim, this is because of you. In your latest book "New From The Inside Out" was a book that refreshed my mind on some of the hard work we did together in our sessions. The book had even more tools for me to continue to work with on a day to day basis. It truly was a breath of fresh air! It's funny how I can hear your voice as I read through the chapters. I look forward to our next phone session and maybe another great book???? Thanks Kim..........you've guided me to the light! To anyone who wants to make a change in life and stop living in fear as I did, this book will inspire you to do just that.

Vazquez Gives Advice On Changing "From The Inside Out",
This review is from: New From the Inside Out: How to Transform Your Mind and Your Life (Paperback)
In LIVING IN THE REAR VIEW MIRROR author Kim Vazquez told us her story of redemption and renewal. Now in NEW FROM THE INSIDE OUT, she helps us all to begin the journey of change that so many of us hope for. Written as advice from a trusted friend, Kim takes us through the importance of loving ourselves, learning to forgive and move on and recognize something larger than us in our quest for real happiness.
While some lament the challenges they have experienced, the author has come to learn the purpose of what she has been through. She writes: "I finally understood why I'd been through all of those challenges and difficulties. It was so I could relate to others on a deeper level and be of help to them." How many of us look for those "teachable moments" when we are dealing with things day to day? How many of us realize the importance of looking for the good in life instead of focusing on the negative? Kim goes on to say this: "A new life began for me when I cleared out my destructive thinking habits and allowed my mind to be quieter." Believe me, no matter where you are in your life, this is a book that you will want to read and share with those you love. It allows you to look at the past, present and future in a brand new light.

My "Inside Out" experience,

This review is from: New From the Inside Out: How to Transform Your Mind and Your Life (Paperback)
This book was referred to me by a friend. When it came and I opened the package a card containing a delightfully personal message, from the author no less, came tumbling out. I was immediately drawn into a warm introduction where Kim had written "I walk the path with you" and I found her path to be a comfortable and rewarding place.
Her interpretation of conditioning and influences rang true in my mind and resonated with other books I had previously read on the subject. I enjoyed reading Kim's explanation on the effects of energy. Her skill as a writer kept me interested and turning the pages through this chapter. However, I had no idea of the discoveries I was about to make. Kim's chapter on Internal Dialogue opened my eyes, took my breath, and smacked me on the chin. For several days I looked on in horror as my Belittler, Judge and Taskmaster ran my affairs for me. I was astonished to discover that my Belittler not only attacked me but came out of my mouth, on occasion, to 'have a go' at my devoted husband too!!! After a few days of this I was able to shut my own (internal), mouth and use the tools set out here in this awesome book. I am even able to identify when someone else's inner dialogue spills out! I love the statement "It's none of my business" and it has kept me out of wasting my valuable energy so many times already. I just know that I will read this book over and over again and I strongly recommend it to everyone - even if, like me, you have read lots of personal empowerment books and think you already know 'all there is' about the power of now. Thank you Kim Vazquez for giving me this finely crafted book of divine daily survival tools. Kathleen Butterfly

Bridget's Review,
This review is from: New From the Inside Out: How to Transform Your Mind and Your Life (Paperback)
People tend to think that the grass is always greener on the other side. Life isn't quite that simple. If you really saw into another persons life, you would probably find that they have problems just like you, yet different. You see someone with a brand new house, brand new car and always looking fresh. Then you see another person who lives in a home, car and looks decent. The first person may be dealing with a cheating husband or her husband could be an abuser. The second person may not have material things but they have a great relationship. Which is more important?
I really liked this book because it opened up my eyes a bit. It's in our nature to see what others have and feel like we want that too. The thing is, when you really think about it, what is more important to you? I have to say that I would rather know true love (I'm not just talking about loving a spouse, I'm talking about truly loving anyone, a friend, a child, a dog). Some of my thought patterns were damaging me in ways that I didn't even know possible. Kim helps shed some light on why we think certain things and how to turn them into something positive. I love Kim's spiritually and how she gently brushes each subject so that the reader doesn't feel overwhelmed. Five stars!

Everyone should read this book - at least once!! Reading "New From the Inside Out" will change your way of thinking as soon as you read the first page. It was an Ah-Ha moment for me. I wanted to keep reading until I was done. Who doesn't want to have joy and happiness in their life?? Kim Vazquez makes perfect sense. We're all busy in our day to day routines. I read this book in less than 48 hours - it's just less than 100 pages but packed with valuable lessons that are easy to absorb and use right away. When I travel I take this book with me. I have highlighted sections that I read every day to give me confidence to get through my issues or just feel good about reinforcing a positive thought. On Page 61, "If you don't feel angels around you in your life, that is to say, all you have to do is ask. They're delighted to help you." All we have to do is ASK. Thank you Kim. I'm inspired by your caring courage. Your friend, Jan

Another Terrifc Book by Kim Vazquez,
This review is from: New From the Inside Out: How to Transform Your Mind and Your Life (Paperback)
I just finished reading Kim's new book. I liked it a lot. It is filled with excellent self-help advice and exercises that I know will help many.
Though this is quite different than her first book, "Living in the Mirror" which was much more autobiographical; the personal situations Kim uses to describe how she came through her troubles certainly makes this book a winner as well. Kim Vazquez continues to write excellent books. I pray she never stops. |
