Excellent resource,
By D.C. Reviewer (Washington D.C.) - See all my reviews
This review is from: New International Bible Dictionary (Hardcover)
Of course dictionaries aren't usually meant to be read through like novels. Even though I haven't done that with this book, I would if I had the time. This is a must have for any student of the Word of God. In addition to the definitions, the book also gives good insight on the topics, placing them in their historical context. Zondervan has done it again!

I first encountered this wonderful Biblical reference book when I took an Intro. to the Bible class at the Philadelphia Bible College in Center City. I love this Bible dictionary. I have never searched for a subject, person, geographical location, etc. that I have not been able to find in this dicitonary. Consequently, when I encounter believers who are searching to know more of God's word, I will purchase this Bible dictionary as a gift. It is a great resource.
