Any commentary set necessarily has uneven quality but the NICOT series is better than most for exposition and advanced Bible Study/Sunday School. It includes such luminaries as Tremper Longman, Bruce Waltke, and O. Palmer Robertson (not to slight the others whom I didn't mention).

The shopper should realize that the set is still being written. As of 12/15/2010, the following books are not yet published: Exodus, Judges, II Samuel, I&II Kings, I&II Chronicles, Esther, Psalms (a major omission!), Lamentations, Daniel, Amos, and Zechariah.

Great set for any pastoral library or for those wanting to dig deeper into the scriptures. I would purchase from this seller again as the set of books came extremely fast and were in the condition as stated.
