New Jack Swing was the last feel good era for me in R&B Music. the hybrid and the feel good nature and energy of the music spoke for itself. before the Hybrid of R&B and Hip-hop or Neo Soul which to me has slowed R&B down almost to driving a pinto on a flat tire. New Jack swing had good songs and a tempo that kept you moving. so many talented acts emerged from this era. this is good party music.

These songs definitely takes me back to a day and time of my college life as well as backyard and cabaret parties here in the Motor City. This genre sound known as the "New Jack Swing" set a slammin' trend for the 90's decade. It doesn't get too much better than this. These collaboration of songs are on point and well put together. Definitely something to be listening to while riding in the car and reflecting back on some good old times. A must have in the collection for any "New Jack Swing" fan or anyone that is a fan of r&b music in general!

I really love this cd. I just wish it had a few more of my favorites on it. Their absence may be because many of my favorites were not singles or mabye they just didnt have room....

if you are looking for some good music to keep your head moving,this is it this has all the jams from back in the day.

The selection of songs is good, however quite a few of the tracks are oddly re-mastered (bobby brown's "my prerogative" for example was completely destroyed was really poorly done, unnecessary scratching). Personally I would've wanted to spend the money on the originals...

It wasn't I good as I thought it would be, but its growing on me. All my friends seem to love it.
