First, one needs to understand I was out of college for a couple years when NKOTB came out. I wasn't a fan back then. It wasn't because I didn't like them; it was the mere fact that they inundated our everyday lives. I thought of them as nothing more than a boy band who danced.

Oh Boy, was I wrong....

I just needed to wait for the guys to grow up. Seriously...

So here I am 20 something years later going to not 1-but 4 concerts with a friend who was a lifelong fan. I was rather hooked. The music from this CD is bold, brash, and danceable with adult themes. If you are looking for "bubblegum pop" you are certainly not going to get it here. There is a central theme here that one doesn't need to be a rocket scientist to understand. They are not boys anymore. They are grown men who want to create music...just for the ladies. They deliver a certain message in their female fans, eliciting a certain response, and they certainly get it.
I found myself very pleased with the CD. It was played in my car for months and is worn out.

I am also impressed they found Lady Gaga who made me take notice. NE-YO and Akon also make an appearance . I am impressed with the fact they nabbed the genius of Timberland as well.

I know I am going to age myself here when I say this: but going back to the days of Dick Clark's American Bandstand, the music on this CD has a great beat and you can dance to it. I might be older than these guys by a few years, but I am certainly not dead.

It was a great comeback CD.
