Excellent Album, 9/10,

Holy Moses was one of the very few 80s metal bands to feature a female vocalist, and Sabina Classen really pulls it off. Their first two albums are excellent as well, but this is the one that really does it for me. The music is a little more experimental, whereas the first two were more straightforward thrash. I also prefer the vocals on this album to any of their albums made before or after this, she still sings with a distinctive growl, but with a little less of that "I just drank a cup of cancer" sound. I'm not really to adept at writing in-depth reviews, but take my word that this is a worthy purchase for anyone interested in older thrash.

If You only pick up one album by this band, this is the one to get. Finished with the dogs is right up there with this one so I'd suggest picking up both! This is nuts and bolts thrash no BS, It is very straight forward but complex enough to please these goobers that have to have that Technical sound & fancy guitar stuff. Just check out Def con II, Lost in the Maze, Near dark, Strange Deception.. there is not a bad song on this. Sabina's Vocals Rip your soul apart just as much as on FWTD and she has a kinda cheesy vocal style that makes it all the better and in my opinion is more interesting than her full throttle death metal vocals nowadays because everyone and their little cousin is doing that now. The new stuff is good but with almost every band in metal the older stuff is always better and this was the highest point of the old stuff for them. Its due time the big 3 of Teutonic thrash be updated to the big four don't you think??
