This is what to get with a SmartMedia device,
This review is from: New Media Technology 32 MB SmartMedia Card (NMT00733) (Personal Computers)
Although "New Media Technology" SmartMedia cards cost less than name brand cards, they are functionally identical.I have found that the most effective way to use a SmartMedia card, like this one, is with an external USB card reader. (I use a Feiya USB unit... it works seamlessly and costs less than the "New Media Technology" version because it doesn't read CompactFlash.) These readers are the absolute fastest method of transferring photos/files/MP3s or whatever. But please note that 64MB SmartMedia cards will be widely available soon. Because the 64MB cards' cost-per-megabyte is currently lower than the 32's, the price of these 32MB cards might be forced down.

This is available as an accessory for the Olympus D-340R Digital Camera, but this camera can only handle a maximum of the 16 MB version

Great card but not compatible with CLIK! IOMEGA Drive,
By A Customer
This review is from: New Media Technology 32 MB SmartMedia Card (NMT00733) (Personal Computers)
32 meg card is almost equivilent to 36 exposure film roll in Olympus C-2000 SHQ mode. Internally, the card is formatted differently than less capacity SmartMedia cards. It cannot be read by my IOMEGA CLIK! drive and although difficult to find in the IOMEGA documentation, they admit it is incompatible and are NOT planning to fix the problem. I use the DELKIN PCMCIA SmartMedia card reader which AMAZON sells for $40 and it works great.
