5.0 out of 5 stars A new Doctor Spock, June 15, 2008
This review is from: New Medicine (Hardcover)
While I have known Kenneth Pelletier's work for many years and the work of many in his network. This book should be on the desk of every clinician - medical or alternative and used as a reference. It could be overwhelming for the consumer without the support of a medical and wellness coach and some consumers can gain education from this book in 20 minutes they won't gain from the traditional hospital based or insurance driven pathway.

If you are a person or clinician that wants to advise someone or understand how that person can live with a chronic illness or life threatening disease and stay out of the hospital, which is the focus of the New Medicine and often not an easy approach to navigate since most managed care programs, insurance companies and hospitals are not designed to support the client to stay at home and organize their care with the resources they have (time and money).

This is now a proven path by way of what the UN Global Compact organized for HIV consumers. Aids has always been the disease to open new and practical pathways and now Kenneth's masterpiece can direct many others with other health and wellness challenges to learn how to live well, work well and be well no matter their health status and diagnosis challenge.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Perfect Medical Reference, September 13, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I picked this book on recommendation of my son who had an earlier version by Dr. David Peters and I can assure you this book is excellent.I has three ways of looking at answers with both natural, alternative and medical ideas. It is an easy reference to use and makes the disease or symptom not scary but more informative than dire. Very helful information and a nice reference for any home and any age.Highly recommended.
