As the title suggests, the information found in this inspirational and down-to-earth book shows the everyday person how to make the most of each of the 12 New Moon placements.

There is a chapter devoted to using the New Moon to let go of unwanted unconscious habits. As well as this there is another technique based on your personal 11th House that I found interesting and potentially beneficial to anyone who wanted to try it.

Everything you need, apart from your personalised birth chart, is found within New Moon Astrology. If you don't have your own chart the book even includes an Internet address where you will be able to draw it up for free! This is the only item you will need to utilise the methods she suggests to make the most of the New Moon symbolism on a personal note.

To get the most out of New Moon Astrology you will need a basic understanding of astrological principles. For example, being familiar with concepts such as houses and cusps would be good, as well as being able to convert time zones comfortably would be handy too.

The book also goes into exploring the Moon's Nodes and how they can help you.

Shree miss spiller has done society a great service with this book. My Guru talks a lot about making intentions, putting out the energy for what you want to be or what you want to change. THis book adds a overwhelming aspect to making intentions. THat Is, making them at the best time for getting the energys of the moon and the zodiac and the universe to help you. This is a very powerful combination making wishes on the new moon. The universe is behind you all the way when you do this.It brings the moons energy along with you. There are two things I would recomend though.When I do my wishes I put them in the form of an intention. An intention is more powerful then a wish. Why? An intention is when you put yourself into the wish you are saying clearly this is my intention NOT well this is something I want I hope or WISH it to come true--in other words an intention is more focused and powerful and it has your will behind it instead of just hoping the universe helps you. The second thing I would suggest is to put in a little "if this is ok with you" type of statement mine goes like this--With your grace Gurumayi--then the intention. This way I invoce my Guru's Grace and Shakti. I also start at the top of my wish page with a line like "if any of these wishes are not in tune with the shakti then may the shakti do whats best for me and my sadhana". This way I will not create anymore unwanted karma for myself or go too fast in any area. Of course you can subsitute God,Universe,Jesus for Guru. God bless Jan Spiller! Thank You for this book.

I have loved and used this book for the past year. I would reccomend it to anyone interested in Astrology.

I love Jan Spiller's new moon astrology forecasts so when I read that she had a book about how to maximize the new moon energy, I ran over here to buy it. I was not at all disappointed. In fact, this book keeps on delivering every New Moon cycle!

A few of the other astrology books I've purchased in the past expire year after year, but this book is not constrained by dates. It gives practical advice on how to maximize each new moon cycle in the specific zodiac sign where it happens to be. In other words, if the new moon is in Scorpio, you look it up in Scorpio. That could be this year, next month, or the next 5 years! So, no need to buy another book next year - at least not one on the same subject.

For each new moon in each particular sign, there are numerous, straight forward examples for making wishes related to the specific area of life being affected. Each section also includes example wishes for physical and health areas governed by that particular moon.

In the back of the book, there's more information for your North Node New Moon and ongoing wishes. Not sure what your North Node sign is? Jan explains how to determine it!

The beginning of the book tells you how to navigate the book itself and how to maximize New Moon energy. There's a chart to figure out your Granddaddy Power Days going into 2050! And of course, it explains just what a Granddaddy Power Day is.

Everything you ever need to know about harnessing the New Moon energy every month for making your dreams (or wishes) come true is in this handy, well written guide. Has it worked for me? Yes, it has! Many times over!

this book is a must for all jan spiller fans. this book contains great information in detail on how the new moon works as well as what to wish for. A+

I love this book! I like how it is structured. I enjoy how she gives you the direction for each month and the option of on going work in areas that are going to require more than a month, probably some years to resolve. I have gotten good results so far from employing some of these tactics each month since I started. I see how I have grown and begun to change. I can see where I will continue to grow and how this book can be very helpful who those who can be realistic and open minded about setting personal growth. Kudos, Jan Spiller!

This is a great way to set goals... and accomplish them, even if you are a "non-believer" in Astrology! It's the kind of book you will keep coming back to as a reference... if you have outcomes you want, you will come back to it every new moon at the very least.
