Gamelan but updated, July 12, 2006

I remember when I first discovered gamelan music; it was entrancing (it's also wonderful live seeing the actual instruments and ensembles). This CD has the facination of the gamelan but combines it with experimention with voice and other unusual sounds to present unique music. My favorite is the first track Mana 689.
