One of my favs of 2004,

Its nice to see this album final out properly. I bought the CD when the band originally released it themselves, but now I've had to buy a second one. The new art-layout is incredible, and I'm not sure if the band remixed anything, but it even sounds better than the original. If you like melodic pop music with creative lyrics, check this band out (dolour.com).

The pop anthem of summer!,
By Allalom Productions "Aaron" (Port Isabel, TX) - See all my reviews
This review is from: New Old Friends (Audio CD)
This is probably one of the greatest pop albums released in the last decade, a perfect blend of modern and classic pop forms...Dolour has been slowly taking the world by storm with his blend of harmony and good ol' fashioned guitar and synth hooks. The standout tracks on this album are the first single "Cheer Up Baby" and the softer track "Running on Forever" - if you are a true fan of great and timeless pop music then this is the album for you! He has been compared to Brian Wilson, Damien Jurado, Pedro The Lion and Belle & Sebastian and yet in my book he surpasses each one in terms of creative genius...
