This is a most comprehensive book, written with humor and obvious delight and love for the breed. I wish I'd had this book when we were training our first Yorkie. I highly recommend this book!

I wish this book had been available when I got my first Yorkie! Very well written; she approaches the subject with common sense --plus it is great fun to read. Super book--super breed!

Being a new owner, I wanted a more practical book on the breed.
I found the author to be focused on the competitive aspect and
"quality" breeding lines. For someone who was looking at entering dog shows, this would be a useful book. For me, who
was looking for some insight at the pet level, it lacked practical applications.

A New Owners Guide to Yorkshire Terriers is an excellent book. The book has excellent color and black and white photos of Yorkshire Terriers. I like the way their hair goes to the ground.

This book had a bit of interesting information...but like most dog breed books, seems "canned"...like they change the cover picture, give the same general information about all dogs and sprinkle in a bit of breed specific information.

"A New Owner's Guide to Yorkshire Terriers" is written by a well-known, knowledgeable "yorkie" breeder/owner. This book is an excellent "history of," "introduction to," and "how to" resource helping experienced and inexperienced owners care for Yorkshire Terriers. Whatever the question, the answer is found in this book. I have owned and loved 3 "yorkies" over the years and the book remains a valuable reference. Presently, my husband and I are honored to be the proud owners of an offspring of champion, "Steppin' Up Billie the Kid." Buffey is a real "eye catcher," has a wonderful friendly personality, is a pleasure to spend time with and care for. Buffey is a delight and a happy little "jumper!" Thank you, Janet Jackson, for a great contribution to the Yorkshire Terrier breed.

This is a great book. I learned alot about yorkies that I did not know before.

This book is invaluable for the new Yorkie owner as well as a great reference for old timers. It is well organized and includes many wonderful photos.

This is a good book for anyone who love littles cuty monster,YorkShire Terrier. U will gain more understanding about this cute little one and it will help u to make a decision if u r fit with this little one or not. This book has many useful things u need to know about yorky. I LOVE THIS BOOK :)
