3.0 out of 5 stars Good insight into Hmong life and history, February 14, 2010
This review is from: New Pioneers in the Heartland: Hmong Life in Wisconsin (Part of the New Immigrants Series) (Paperback)
This book gives an insider view of the Hmong people and helps you to understand how different generations of Hmong people differ in their culture. If you want to know anything about Hmong people, this is a good book to add to the readings. While this is only a snipet of information on the Hmong people, its a good book!

This review is from: New Pioneers in the Heartland: Hmong Life in Wisconsin (Part of the New Immigrants Series) (Paperback)
The research presented here is limited in scope, naive, inexpert/amateurish, and increasingly dated. Reads essentially like a masters thesis. Not recommended.
