--L. William Countryman is an Episcopal priest and Professor of New Testament at Church Divinity School of the Pacific, Berkeley, California. Among his many and influential books are Living on the Border of the Holy (1999) and Dirt, Greed, and Sex (1989).

--Gail Ramshaw is Professor of Religion at LaSalle University in Philadelphia. Among her recent titles are Under the Tree of Life (1998) and God beyond Gender (1995).

--Mark I. Wegener holds a doctorate in New Testament from Lutheran School of Theology, Chicago, and is Senior Pastor of Woodlake Lutheran Church in Richfield, Minnesota.
