For anyone undergoing or considering psychiatic treatment, March 14, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: New Psychiatry (Hardcover)
The book helped me overcome my grave doubts about the usefulness of psychiatry. It lays out all the options in a commonsense way and provides the information to keep a psychotherapist of whatever persuasion focused on results rather than process.

As shown in this compassionate book, mental illness is no fun for the patient, family, or friends. If not treated properly, mental illnesses can even result in a tragic suicide.
