Book Description

March 23, 2010

Happiness in life is about more than what's in your bank account or stock portfolio. Success is more than achieving power and respect. Each one of us has a responsibility for changing the world in a positive, significant, and enduring way—and the challenge is less daunting than you might think.

In this hopeful and motivating book, author Ken Dychtwald shares inspiring stories of people who have made a difference and points us to resources that will enable us to do the same. All it takes is an investment in head, heart, and spirit. For those of us who find ourselves asking, "Now what?" A New Purpose has the answers.

4.0 out of 5 stars You Will Reflect and Take Action August 17, 2010
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
I picked up this book after listening to the author on a CD available in Success magazine. And, I have a client that works with non-profits so the book seemed appropriate for me to read. My simple review is this; I have started a relationship with the Make a Wish Foundation because the book reminded me that we should make a difference in the world in addition to making money and feeding our families. I can't think of a better way to recommend a book then to state that action was taken as a reaction to it. Although the book focuses on an older population anyone that wants to think about their purpose on this earth should read this book.
