I cannot compare these sheets and cases to more expensive ones. My review is based solely on how I feel about these. I am very satisfied with the quality and cost. They are very soft and comfortable to sleep in regardless of temp. When I was originally looking at satin and silk in the department stores, one could easily spend 100-300 dollars for a set. This was only 20 something. Granted, I'm sure they're not as good as the 100-300 sets, but they make a great alternative to someone not willing to fork out that kind of money.

it feels nice to sleep on, but if you have rough feet or long nails or dry skin, I do not recommend using it for more than one night because it gets pilly and starts looking crappy pretty quickly.

I got a really good deal on these black silk sheets and love the feel of them at first. But they soon began to unhook off my bed. I don't use them anymore and have moved on the cotton black sheets for now.
