More About the Author

I was born in Connecticut, educated as a mechanical engineer in Massachusetts, and moved to Ohio for a job in a Fortune 200 company. I've since left the safety of that career, having been in multiple manufacturing roles, including: engineering manager, plant manager, and an acquisition captain, as well as an internal consultant for numerous manufacturing plants on Lean methodology. I have now set about consulting part time and writing the rest of the time.

I was always a maverick as a child, and an adult, and was never quite able to draw inside the lines or follow certain rules. I did however, figure out how to fit into acceptable society and not be a pink monkey. This, and the engineering training I had, taught me to question everything, and never automatically believe in anything. Consequently, I was always a handful for anyone I reported to. Once they knew me though, they pretty much let me run free with the reservation, "If anyone asks if I knew about this, I didn't." - since the things I did usually didn't fit into the nice neat corporate boxes or standards, but were effective at getting the job done.

This personality trait, possibly due to playing with mercury as a child, influences my writing to be somewhat different than others. My hopes are that it will make reading more entertaining for you, with a fresh approach to viewing the world around us, by removing the usual paradigms and blinders we impose on ourselves through our culture's influences.

I've done some pretty dumb things while learning about writing as a career. The first thing is, how darn hard it can be, and I've taken classes, and read several books on writing. The second is how easy it is to make a mistake, such as over-write a good file with a draft copy and promote it to 35,000 people. Yikes. That was a nightmare. I'm much more careful now.

If you are someone that doesn't always feel you fit in all the time, and sees things somewhat differently than most, or looks at things and says, 'What if?' then you might like my work.

If you like a more lighthearted group of somewhat irreverent characters, you might like my Reluctant Gods Series. If you've been in business and know some cold and cruel characters, you might like Dr. Roland Vandergrift in 'Power, Control, Conformance.'

If you are a person who is set in their ways and beliefs and can only see things a certain way, you might not like any of my work.

I hope you enjoy what I've done. If you don't like it, remember you can always return it, though I've had few returns so far. Remember, I did warn you.

I know AJ personally and I first read the draft about 4 years ago. I can honestly say that the story was an inspiration for me and sparked me to new thinking and new actions (I wrote my own book after being inspired by AJ and his efforts). When I read the book I asked AJ- "Is this real?" and after much discussion I know that this is a true story. The incidents of "mysterious" nature are factual. I can say then, that this reality opens up so many new possibilities if we are willing to explore them. I honestly realized that if these things AJ wrote about actually happen, I need to think about what is possible for me in my own life. I am happy to report that for me (and AJ himself) we have both had tremendous growth and wonderful things happen since that first discussion 4 years ago. Read it and realize that it is not just a good story- it is a recognition that amazing things are all around us every day and maybe we are not attuned to them, dnd sometimes something happens and if we notice it will wake us up. Read it and look for the possibilities around you.

Great information for any who have questioned and didn't know where to turn or think. Gives good insight in an understanding way. A teaching book/tool; a place to begin which puts it in a scientific way to comprehend that the two, paranormal and science are really not separate once you can connect the distance between them. The author helps to bring together these parities by giving you the information you need. Great research as well as sharing his personal story; which could help many to feel not alone and realize it's more common than you think. * Start by not believing in coincidences....and you'll just take off from there in your own life. Just think that not always a half eaten apple is just that.

What does Pink Monkeys, auras, energy, wiccan and witches have to do with "A New Reality: A Wake Up Call to Life's Mysteries" by A.J. Aaron? You must read this interesting true story to find out. When introduced to I'Chin and meditation by a friend, A.J. experiences unexplained happenings and embarks on a journey to help him understand what is happening to him. At times he thinks he is crazy but all becomes clear to him as you read along.

On his journey he meets and befriends 2 people who he is able to communicate with mentally and who are able to help him understand what is going on in his life. His wife, though she does not understand at first, is willing to accept his friends and what is happening to him.

This is an unusual true story and one that makes you think of unexplained happenings in your life. It is fast moving and also refers to books you will find yourself wanting to read. Even the Appendix at the end is interesting and summarized some of what happened in the main part of the book. This book makes sense and you will want to learn more.

I loved the premise of the book A New Reality: A Wake up Call to Life's Mysteries. I have always wondered about certain things that occur - such as thinking of someone and having them appear somwhere or coincidences or even how things seem to synchronize so well together. Well, A.J. Aaron has actually had the courage of his convictions to openly and honestly write about these exact subjects.

What makes this book so interesting is that Aaron actually includes his own life experiences as examples of "things" that are just too much of a coincidence. Aaron argues that we all have an energy that we can channel and that we can tap into. Over time, human beings seem to have pushed aside their natural abilities and the fact that there are some weird things going on out there. Aaron calls us on these and takes us for a much, closer look at a fascinating subject.

This book is well written and I thoroughly enjoyed it - everything except the horrible cover.

A New Reality - by A.J. Aaron

Not everyone is searching for a spiritual awakening; sometimes it just happens. Often when you least expect it, as it did for A.J. Aaron. A New Reality recounts his personal experiences where metaphysical meets spiritual and hits him full on. Can you mix Judeo Christian beliefs with I-Chin and with Science and still believe in miracles? When something like this happens to you where do you go, who do you talk to? If you have never had an experience like this before, it can be quite exciting, and frightening at the same time. Aaron takes us through his moments of confusion and exhilaration drawing the reader in to learn what happens next. You won't want to put in down for a second and may just seek to find you own path in a new direction that you haven't thought of before. I highly recommend reading A New Reality.

A.J. fills us in on how his life has changed since he followed his friends advice and performed some exercises called I-Chin. By the time he got to the second to last exercise he started to feel a rush of electric energy flow through his body. This experience tweaked A.J.'s interest and he plunged himself into finding out more about the I-Chin exercises and developing this newly discovered energy to its fullest potential.

This is a non-fiction book about the author and his friends experiences with the transference of knowledge through the media of energy, via quantum physics. There is no doubt that some of what we perceive in this world is an illusion. For instance the table top that appears solid to us is actually made up of moving atoms. This book should get people to think beyond what appears to be reality and into what may be actuality.
