I lived near the New River Gorge for 10 years and became fed up with the lack of a good trail guidebook. I finally created a trail guide that condenses all the popular areas into one book. The best part of the book are the cool maps! They really give you a great idea of the relief before you even get to the area.

About the Author

Steve Cater has written seven guidebooks in the last 8 years. He has traveled and climbed extensively around the world with trips to Antarctica, Asia, Australia and Europe. He is an active rock climber but also enjoys mountain biking and snowboarding.

I would recommend this guide to anyone interested in hiking in the New River Gorge and in the Cranberry Glades recreation area. Now I have a bunch of places that I want to visit when we go out to WV in September!
