Anyone who is into barbershop singing should not be without this CD. Acoustix is undoubtedly one of the best quartets to ever hit the scene, and this recording is the perfect introduction to them. As soon as you listen, you will realize that they couldn't have chosen a better name; the vibrance from their very resonant voices and flawless tuning is amazing to hear. The track selection here includes a wonderful mix of old-fashioned style barbershop arrangements and more original, new styles.

Long time fan, January 29, 2008

I've had this album since 1993 (I still have it on tape!). If you are a barbershop fan, it doesn't get much better than these guys. Their arrangements are second to none - they do away with the conventional and make these classics sound fresh. Their voicings are beautiful and the execution is as tight as it gets. And their tags will make your hair stand on end. Get a copy of this album and see how great barbershop should be done.
