I was very pleased with my purchase. The pages were clean and unmarked, however there are some in the Old Testament part where the writing is faded and illegible. It looks like it may have been left open in the sun too long. This is not really a major issue as I have another Bible the same version and can copy what's missing onto the pages. Fast delivery.

The New American Standard is one of the most accurate (literal) translations of the Bible. This Scofield Study Bible was published in 1988 and is an excellent choice for the note taker, [Sturdy Note-Taking Bible]. I have three in my personal library and I have used two. It holds up well for those who write copious amounts of notes in their Bibles. Its full description is The New Scofield Study Bible New American Standard: New Scofield study system with introductions, annotations, and subject chain by references. The Editorial Revision Committee is a list of the great theologians of a past generation -- John Walvoord (President, Dallas Theological Seminary), Frank Gaebelein (Headmaster, The Stony Brook School), Charles Feinberg (Dean, Talbot Theological Seminary), Wilbur M. Smith (Editor, Peloubet's Select Notes), Alva J. McClain (President Emeritius, Grace Theological Seminary), William Culbertson (President, Moody Bible Institute), & others -- great scholars of theology & of the original languages. Approx. size 9 3/4 X 6 7/8 X 1 7/8, hardcover; the World Bible Publishers, Inc. version came with a gray dust jacket.
