The Slingbox and SlingLink Turbo really work well to allow me to watch my TV from anywhere. I needed a wireless connection from the TV to the modem in another room and the bridge makes that possible. It is not the easiest set up I have ever done, but the people who answered the phone at Sling were very polite. It took three calls to find someone who could answer my questions in a way I could understand.

My only complaint now is that the virtual remote for TIVO is not fully functional. There are two buttons (TV Input and DVD) that do not work. When I asked the Sling personnel about it (two calls), their response was 'I guess that does not work.' I asked if it might be fixed in the future or if my call information would be forwarded to someone. The response I got was close to a 'You've got to be kidding.'

I do think the product is well worth the price if, like me, you have cable in only one room of your house and would like to watch TV in the other rooms.

I purchased this equipment believing it would assist me with watching my shows wherever I wanted in my home. Because of the economy, people are downsizing their cable. I pay for the perks I want and should be able to enjoy them wherever I go and in every room. I can do that with this product. Yes, it works. There was a need for connectivity to my slingbox located in another room. This port enables me to not only get my signal throughout my home but to attach other ethernet devices to my router. I have purchased more for family members who don't have a slingbox!

I bought the slinglinkturbo4port unit,after further investigation I was routed to another website suggesting That I buy additional units?I called and talked with someone that did not even speak decent english and was told i did not need to buy other crapola?When my tech came to hook everything up I was told that I needed the SlingboxSOLO SB260?Why does Amazon support such scam products such as this?Why will I have to spend over 300.00 us dollars when I probably would not have if I knew.I just hope and pray this piece of wordly smell functions as well as it cost!This SUCKS!
