I am enjoying the recipes in this cookbook for healthier eating even though I'm not a diabetic. They are still flavorful and tasty. I think anyone could benefit from these recipes to have better eating habits.

This cookbook has quite a few execellent recipes. The recipes are tweeked just enough to make them healthy alternatives without loosing flavor.

Book was interesting. I'm used to the old fashion soul food and am slowly adapting to a healthier way of cooking it. I did switch from hamhocks to smoked turkey wings in my collard greens and now I use brown rice with all my meals. I also found a oven fried chicken recipe on the food network website under Pat and Gina's Oven fried chicken. We have to be open to try new things and this book will help lead you down that path!
