If you want to learn Torah in a clear but deep way, this book is for you. The book is not a superficial survey. It contains analytical portions from many of the commentators. The book is in English, but it contains lots of contextual references and examples in Hebrew. Hebrew is important for Torah study. While the book is meant for English speakers, it still maintains respect for the fact that the Hebrew is of paramount importance for appropriate Torah analysis. With the Hebrew, the important historical and analytical context is possible.
