Calming of the body and mind,
By William Morgan (Seminole, AL USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: New-Style Tai Chi Ch'uan: The Official Chinese System (Paperback)
I picked up the book because a friend told me that Tai Chi helps to calm a person down and handle stress. After a few weeks I've almost completed the book and have began to notice a change in my stamina, flexibilty and ability to concentrate, as well as the improvement in the strength in my body, especially my knees and ankles. I truely suggust this book to any one who is serious about learning this form.

I only can run, too, seeing this posture. It's a shame what's sold under the title "Official forms of Taijiquan". PS: I have studied different forms of Taijiquan (Yang, Chen) and other martial arts in Taiwan for more than 10 years.

I'm no expert on every style but that posture on the front cover is enough to make me run a mile from this book!
