This review is from: New Teacher Induction: How to Train, Support, and Retain New Teachers (Paperback)
It only talks about a few places in the and in a very limited way.
they say every thing revolves around money
it would not help you if you are opening a private school
outside the US

3.0 out of 5 stars Some good info, April 5, 2008

This review is from: New Teacher Induction: How to Train, Support, and Retain New Teachers (Paperback)
This book explains the components of a full teacher induction program, not just mentoring (which they see as just one part and insufficient to really retain new teachers on its own). The format of the pages is very busy, and while there is useful information here, you'll need to weed through a lot of repetition to get to it all. Wong's other book, "The First Days of School" is pitched repetitively too.

This review is from: New Teacher Induction: How to Train, Support, and Retain New Teachers (Paperback)
This is a great book fir helping to establish a new teacher induction program. It helped give my NTIP direction, and especially helped as I was creating the agenda for the August orientation of new teachers.
