This study guide is interesting because it doesn't give long drawn out explanations on scriptures. It hits the points of the passage and then moves on. There are not many commentaries out there like this one. It gives a down to Earth "this is what it means, now lets apply it and move on" feel.

If you ever had a question about any Scripture verse, this will answer it--fast. Seriously, you can find it within seconds.

This book is the most perfect Bible reference tool. If I have any questions on a Scripture I am reading, this book is so handy I can turn right to it and have a quick explanation. I also like how it has maps and some Greek words for better understanding.

At the beginning of each book is a summary explaining who wrote it, when, and the purpose. At the end of each book are some study questions which are helpful to see if you understood that book in the Bible.

This is a great book to give to anyone including junior high and high school students. They will appreciate getting quick answers and explanations to things they are reading in the Bible. And it's helpful for new believers too.
