I'm rather new to making my own cigarettes. Until today I'd been using a hand slide injector, getting mediocre results; loose, uneven packing and frequent jamming... quite frustrating. After reading many articles and reviews of the Top-O-Matic, I ordered one just a few days ago and received it today. I found this to be extremely easy to use and fast. The machine appears very well constructed (of metal, not plastic). The quality of the finished cigarette is excellent. The delivered price of $45 is a bargain. I can't comment on longer-term durability yet, but if all the reviews I've read are correct, I've certainly made the right choice of product, and the right place to purchase.

between me and my parents mine has done 4 cartons a week for about a year now and the machines still works well

i plan to get another one soon as i hate having to let my parents borrow it all the time

there is a new model out called the topomatic t2 out that i may buy as it claims to be better but this one is cheaper and hasnt given me any problems so i may just get another one of these unless i find a real review of the t2 thats makes it seem worth the extra money

Made the mistake of trying to be "economical" with my first injectors- don't waste your cash- go straight to the Top-O-Matic. Had mine almost a year now and it churns out smokes smoothly at a buck a pack and no down time...yet. Just don't feed it with powdery shake and clear out the chamber with a crank every cig or two.

Bought this about 5 months ago. I make a lot of cigarettes. Parts are now worn down and I'm having problems with the injector. It only stuffs a tube halfway - the lower half only - then ejects tube and the tobacco out. It's quite a mess. Apparently this is common as Republic Tobacco has a two-page letter listing the probs and the fixes.Do not ever overstuff this machine! You will pay for it as it gets worn down. Also handle gets very loose with usage. Bust out the tools - I had to bring it to my brother a mechanic to take apart the machine. He still cannot figure out what the prob is with the injector. I followed their directions on how to dismantle the machine and still it doesn't work. Of course I can order the parts and try to replace them, but I am not a Ms. Fixit. And what do I do with the cigs I need to make NOW? It takes 3-4 hours - not exaggerating - to make a pack now with this prob. Can't afford to buy another one while waiting for parts. From what I read, this is the best injector in the market now, and that's not saying much. It has the handle to hold the machine down. My bro has another cheaper brand and it broke within one month. Ebay has a lot of injectors, lot more choices and of course prices. Next time I am going to spend $20 more and buy an electric one, there's an Ebayer who is selling them $64 with shipping. There has to be a better choice than this. I'm so frustrated. I can't buy them locally, they charge $72 for them here! What a rip off.

I had used the plastic hand slide cigarette maker, it started out good but after a few packings, the hand slide machine would jam up. A friend had recommended the Topomatic. I received it today, and was very pleased with the results. The cigarettes are packed very nicely. I would definitely recommend it to my friends.

I just bought one of these today for $40.00 at a local smoke shop. All I have to say is.. I love it! After owning 3 Premier pieces of garbage this thing is awesome! Feels like a Caddy compared to Premiers junk. Its obvious that Top completely stole Premiers work. Almost a clone if you will. But imo they improved on it immensely. I see so many complain that it breaks down. Of course it does. Machines wear out and break. Thats the way it is. They always have and always will. Today, I made 8 packs of smokes in 4o minutes in high humidity with this machine.

Guess what... At $5.50 a pack for Newport, it already paid for itself. My Bud bought an electric for $120.00... It basically consisted of a spring that turned and ground the tobacco into mush which made it un smokable! It was actually fun making smokes, but we couldnt smoke them.. Better him than me.. LoL

But anyway, loving it so far.... I honestly will Never buy another Premier.... They almost made me cry.....

I was using a plastic hand held injector until it snapped in my hands. I bought this after reading the reviews and I'm very pleased with it. Works great and it only takes minutes to pump out perfect cigs. This is the only machine you will need.

As of 10/10/10 I have not had one cigarette. I credit this to weaning myself from the nicotine found in the big brand manufacturers. The cost of a carton of cigarettes is about a third when you make your own with this too. I found the Zen white cigarette tubes worked the best. 7/11/11

The Top - O- Matic Cigraette rolling machine is Easy to use. Produces a good cigarette. It's great to be free from government control and taxes.

This machine works really well and saves us money......yes, I know, it's a darn dirty habit!! Would recommend it for other darn dirty users.

My Girlfriend has one. She's hard on equipment and it wouldn't fill the tube 1/2 way before it ejected the tube off. I took the bottom off and tightened the small nut that holds the arm, a little loose, same results. Cut a ring off the tension spring same thing. Took the ejector out, looked ok. Then I realized the arms that pack the tobacco in the chamber was bent. I took the nut off the bottom of the handle, took those parts out.Took the 2 screws and nuts out that holds the arms in. Pulled out arms and the packer. Used a small vise and pliers to straighten out the arms.Only 2 were bent and when straightened the arms layed flat against each other and were smooth in operation. Reinstalled parts as removed. Simple job.Works like new. She was putting too much powder tobacco in and got it jammed. Great machine.
