The NT600C is probably the most convenient battery pack I have ever had. By having the wall plug built-in, the battery pack is able to be kept charged anywhere- cafe, airport, bar. If there is an outlet, you are set. And with the micro cable built in, there nothing extra to have to carry or remember (assuming not using an iProduct).

When you plug the NT600C into the wall, a red led comes on telling you the battery pack is charging. The blue leds come on showing how full the battery pack is.

Once you plug a device in, the NT600C turns on and starts charging- no having to remember to push a power button. Another nice, convenient feature. The leds are on always and show the remain charge in the pack. This is nice to know but annoying if you charging your device overnight or in a dark room. I'd like to see a way to turn the lights off while still charging the device. To stop charging, you simply unplug the device and the unit turns off. Alternatively, you can push the button on the top to stop charging with the device is connected.

The built in cable only does 500ma so my Android device would only charge at usb speeds. MY Blackberry wouldn't charge off it. If you use your own, data shorted cables though, both the usb ports are able to be used without issue (or if your phone is rooted, just use fast charge mode).

Likes:
A)Built in wall charger.
B)Built in device charger.
C)Auto on feature.
D)Multiple ports with varying amps to charge multiple devices at once.

Dislike:
A)Blue leds are on while any device is charging. This can be very distracting
B)Built in micro usb cable is just a bit short in my opinion.

The Chargepak is my new favorite accessory. It's small and doesn't have any extra cords hanging off it, which makes it easy to throw into my bag. When fully charged it keeps me, my phone and my ipad going all day, even when I'm traveling with my four year old daughter. I like it better than my car charger because it doesn't heat up the phone and I can use it anywhere. All in all it does exactly what I need it to do.

My main use for these chargers I own is during my international travel, and especially my trekking / hikes where there are only a few places (with limited wall outlets) where electricity can be found.

First, I love the built-in wall charger for several reasons. I own two of the other New Trent devices that do not have the built-in wall charger and I must say, the convenience and portability factors supercede the others in this area. I wish my other two NT devices had this built-in plug. Adding to that, I love that the prongs fold down, so it's a rectangle and easier to pack. I also love that I can charge three devices at once. Furthermore, I just bought a Samsung digicam and love that I can now charge it from the NT600's built-in micro cable and not have to bring an extra cord! Awesome.

At any point, you can roughly tell how much battery juice you have left, indicated by four blue LED lights. If 1 is lit, you have 25%. If 2 are lit, 50% and so forth. When your device is 100% fully charged, the unit shuts off. I did notice that it gets my iPhone 5 to 98% pretty quickly...but then takes a bit extra time to get to 100%. However, when charging through the normal iPhone 5 cable, it's the same exact thing...in fact, an actual Apple rep told me a few months ago that this is the scenario with the iPhone 5 -- that it gets to 99% fairly quickly but that I would need to let it charge a bit more to get a 100% charge. So the fact that this happens on the NT600 is more a function of the iPhone 5, as I see it.

I like that the ports are clearly indicative of which is to be used for the ipad (2.1A). This is not the case on some other NT chargers. Overall, really like this little battery pack. New Trent has some fantastic products!

I was in need of a portable charging device for my Iphone. This is a great product. I really like the compact design of this, it's small enough and not to big so it's portable easily. I like that it has a long lasting charge for 6 hours after it's fully charged. Makes carrying it on the go great since it has such a long battery life. I use it around the house to for my toddler to watch videos on my phone as well.

I used to have a separate external battery power pack and charger. The problems? 1) two things in my briefcase, 2) I'd use (and deplete) the battery and forget to charge it. Now, 1) one thing in the briefcase, 2) using the Chargepak as a charger means that the battery is refreshed and therefore ready for next use.

This isn't "perfect" inasmuch the narrow portion of the pack is what rests against the wall. This would seem to mean the center of gravity works against the device staying plugged into the wall. That being said, I haven't encountered any problems with it falling out of outlets.

There is the convenience of the built in microUSB cable with works well with my Galaxy S3, but if I ever get an iPhone, I'll need to use a separate cable or microUSB to Lightning converter. It has two USB plugs one of which is at 2.1 amps which means I can charge both my Galaxy S3 and my iPad mini at the same time.

I do worry about the overall battery health inasmuch as I am not occasionally depleting the battery. Toyota Research confirmed that some lithium ion batteries have memory: http://dailyfusion.net/2013/04/some-lithium-ion-batteries-actually-do-have-memory-effect-study-finds-5864/ . My worry is not great, though: the study claims "The effect is in fact tiny: the relative deviation in voltage is just a few parts per thousand."
