New Women's Devotional Bible

The latest version of the Women's Devotional bible is beautifully updated to a superior level of design and content. It's come a long way baby! ( I have to admit that the previous versions were so old fashioned and boring that I was never tempted to purchase it even though I thought the concept was great for women.) But this is more like it! It has a lovely two colour (green & brown) design layout--it's just gorgeous. It's the perfect size, compact enough for carrying but big enough so that it's very legible for all those forty something's and older that need a little help with the reading thing. The content is amazing. I love interactive bibles and I used to lean more to the youth bibles as they tended to have more notes, questions and interactive commentary that are engaging and draw out the meaning and relevance and application of God's word to your life. And now I've finally found this same application in this women's bible. The wonderful full page devotionals that are so relevant to women comes with a sidebar scripture it's based on, sidebar questions to stir you to apply God's word to your life and related scripture references for extra study. There's even some space leftover on these pages that you could even write your answer or inspirational notes if your like me and like to write in your bible. This is a lovely bible! Highly recommended! Zondervan, you definitely know how to make bibles! Now, if only you could figure out a way to make a New Living Translation version of this bible, then I would be transported!!

I had never owned a devotional Bible before purchasing this one, but being that I'm 37 and a mother of two I thought maybe it was time to treat myself. I am so glad I did. There are a couple of features that I really like in the Bible. First, the devotionals give me a good guideline on what point I should read to at minimum. I often find myself getting through three devotionals plus the scripture reading per evening. I also absolutely love the "callouts" which are highlighted, framed verses found on various pages. There are 500 of those in this Bible, which are the verses that are often memorized. This Bible also has an easy-to-read double column format and in addition, the various stories are titled to make you take notice that a new story or concept is being presented. Also, within the devotions they point to additional scriptural reading to be found elsewhere in the Bible that directly relate to where you are in scripture. I love that feature!!! The fonts are beautiful and I love the format of the devotionals. I cannot imagine a better format. Women, if you need a new devotional Bible or have never have one by any means please treat yourself today!

I love that it is easy to navigate, on my Kindle, to quickly find which book, or verse I want to look at in the Bible. This Women's Devotional Bible is nicely layed out and is so easy to read! I cannot wait to go on my holiday, in a few days, and have access to my Bible. Before, when going on vacation, I would not take a Bible, only due to the fact that (most) Bibles, in general are very heavy. On the plane, with the fact that it is common to be charged for overweight luggage, it is so awesome I can now easily take my Women's Bible with me without any worries! I won't leave home without it now! I am a happy girl!

This Women's Bible is amazingly beautiful to behold! It presents God's words in a manner that touches a woman's feminine heart --- just by the visuals alone! Within this Bible the reader will find God's eternal messages, and questions set forth to the reader to help her think about her role as a vessel of God. In addition, many of the words of inspiration by reknown Christian women drive home, to the reader, just how important she is to God. In short, this is an absolutely cool presentation of God's words. It will surely appeal to women of all ages.

I've had several Women's Devotional Bibles and have given them as gifts, as well...but this is the best I've had. The messages from the women writers are more impacting, more thought provoking and applicable. I like the fact that there are several additional readings, as well. And the questions definitely cause reflection. And, I absolutely love the green color of the leather and that this version is my favorite, the NIV. Thank you so much.

When I ordered this Bible I must admit that the picture of the cover was the first thing that attracted me to it. At the time I was looking for another Woman's Bible. I stumbled upon this one by accident. While compairing the two Bibles I opted for this one and I am so glad I did. It truly is a Woman's Bible. The Bible I had been using was okay, but I wanted one that was a little more femine.

This Bible is femine while not being to over the top. It has some great quotes in it from some great women. It also has certain Bible verses picked out that would be easy to memorize (if you are in to that). I'm following the daily devotionals and loving it. There are 3 questions with each devotional that they give you to think about. I've been keeping a journal and writing the questions/answers down.

All in all a great Bible!

A great women's devotional that starts the day or end the evening giving praise to our wonderful Lord and Savior. It provides us with a fresh look at some of the women in the Bible and gives us a new perspective on stories of the old testament. Having this devotional on the kindle makes me more consistent in my readings as I carry my kindle with me everywhere. All of my favorite readings in one spiffy device enables me to do my devotions and engage in other readings at any given time. I love my kindle that allows me the flexibility of being able to do this!!

Worth every penny. I like everything about it - the size, layout, text size, color scheme, devotions, call-outs...

This bible was a gift to myself and I am very pleased. Very easy reading, I love the layout. I am thinking of getting a copy for my mother for Mother's Day.

I was gifted this book and have since bought 6 more as gifts for others. If there is a woman in your life who needs a bible which has an easier understanding of God's Word sprinkled throughout with insightful notes for even deeper understanding, theb this is the bible for you.

I have enjoyed mine for more than two years now, and still find treasures buried within the pages of it today. I don't think I will ever tire of this wonderful book.
