5.0 out of 5 stars The leaders of the truth movement have done it again!
(Hed) P.E. has done it yet again, with the release of their latest album, "New World Orphans." I've been a fan of this band for several years now, and they never let me down. M.C.U.D. has set his band on a mission to let the world know what is going on behind the scenes. He wants us to open our eyes, and not just blindly accept the answers we've always been told. Every...

3.0 out of 5 stars disappointing..
After hearing Insomnia I believed Hed was headed in the right direction and my hopes for this album were extremely high. Especially after hearing the track Renegade and the three tracks from D.I.Y Guys I was so excited that New World Orphans seemed to be more aggressive. Turns out Renegade was the best song on the record and the rest was more punk orientated. The major...

(Hed) P.E. has done it yet again, with the release of their latest album, "New World Orphans." I've been a fan of this band for several years now, and they never let me down. M.C.U.D. has set his band on a mission to let the world know what is going on behind the scenes. He wants us to open our eyes, and not just blindly accept the answers we've always been told. Every track on this album hits hard, my current favorite track would have to be "Stay Ready," which features Subnoize rapper "The Dirtball." This album definitely has influences from all of their previous releases. The single from the album, "Renegade" is a hard hitting track, and I guarantee someone is going to be hit even harder, when they get knocked out in the pit during this song. Take a 5 minute trip over to Youtube to check the official video. There are actually three different versions of this album. Each version has a different cover and artwork, as well as different bonus tracks. They went all out on this album, but I never expected any less than the best. There are Also guest appearances from KMK, Tech N9ne, Potluck, and Big B. With music like this to start off the new year, 2009 is already looking to be a great year. I would give this album a rating of 6 stars if Amazon would let me. There will always be someone who gives a negative review of this album, but hey Jared doesn't want those Emo kids listening to his music anyways...

5.0 out of 5 stars Where are all the haters at?, February 5, 2009
This review is from: New World Orphans (Audio CD)
I really am surprised that the review section doesn't have at least one hater yet. Anyways, I have to say this is the best effort from this band sense the self titled. I've been listening from the age of 13 (21 now). I've always loved this band, but they have flat out done them self's for this one. From there independent career on this is with out the best album yet. Only in Amerika was okay, I loved Back to base x, Insomnia was good but not as good as it could be. This album is everything Insomnia could have been and more. Renagade is the best single they have had sense they broke loose of the noose, stay ready is my new favorite song, and the whole message of the cd is much more inspiring then Insomnia. I love this album, and its great to hear them have a CD that is actually CD quality. I highly suggest this CD to fans, people who lost touch, and people who have never heard them before.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best "new (hed)" album, April 7, 2011
This review is from: New World Orphans (Audio CD)
Though "Truth Rising" is also good, this album is exceptional. He has an intelligent, a little crazy, and interesting message. Ordo (Ab Chao) is the essence of the album.

I hadn't caught up with Hed in a while. Didnt know this album existed til last week. Wowww... every song is just ridiculous. Im only halfway done listening to this masterpiece and I gotta tell you this is one of the most well thought-out, diverse, politically and lyrically powerful new albums I've heard in along time, by any group. And it is FUNNY too. One song, MCUD is saying "I cant trust anything anymore, not even sesame street" LOL. The samples are great, both the ones they found and the ones they made. Honestly it gives me a new respect for them musically as I was a little disappointed in their last several releases. This album kicks major ass!!! Also, there's 26 tracks- not sure why only 20 are posted here. Hed- stay on the kottonmouth kings label-- when you fools are combined it is SICK.

There isnt a way to describe it- but if I had to, its like a cross between Rancid, a lot like that but that is WAAY cool, KMK, some of the samples somehow remind me of Ministry (Psalm 69). One might say they borrowed the NWO theme from them, they even used George Bush samples in very similar ways.. but the record itself is an original gem in the sea of mediocre bulls**t that even my fave bands are putting out these days. Buy this record you will not regret it!

Awesome cd from beginning to end. Loads of songs, like 26 songs on album. REnegade, Bloodfire, Middle Class Blues, Planet X being some of the standouts. By far their best overall cd since Broke, I've been waiting a long time for an album from HED this good.

5.0 out of 5 stars Anti-Everything, February 18, 2009
This review is from: New World Orphans (Audio CD)
I first heard about (hed) P.E. through Broke and loved them from there on out. This is their best work yet. This cd gets me pumped and makes me not want to take crap from anybody. (hed)PE have created a though provoking album and certainly one of my favorites. I've heard this cd about 5 times straight in a row already. Every song on this album is a gem. Hopefully, they are just as good live when I go see them next month.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome!, January 23, 2009
Very good album. My favorite songs from it include renegade, stay ready, this love, and bloodfire. Don't get me wrong, i like all of the songs on this album. This album is a great deal. Very cheap for that many songs. A MUST HAVE for (hed) P.E fans.
