She was a columnist for Australia's Conscious Living magazine and contributes to the Sedona Journal of Emergence. She has a background in education and has conducted numerous workshops and seminars.

I am on my second time around with this book. What the author did was put it all together. Before, I would have to tell people to read this one than that one in order to get certain information on self healing. Now I just say, read this one. I will probably read it again. It is excellent.

The author herself states that nothing she is saying is new information. Basically she is suggesting a healthy diet, exercise, meditation, etc. Common sense presented in a very drawn-out, boring way.
There is nothing in the book about working with chakras, just an explanation of what the chakras are. I didn't listen to the accompanying CD, so maybe the "New World" is on there?

I love this book. It's as if Bente was talking directly to my soul. I had originally checked this book out at the library. I loved it so much I had to buy my own copy.
