Eye Witness trilogy
Three women have to give up their identites when they witness the same murder. Now they have to return to New Orleans to testify again. The convicted man has been granted a retrial A New Year's Conviction by Cassie Miles Harlequin Intrigue # 402 - January 1997 Maggie's back in New Orleans early. She's supposed to testify in the DeCarlo retrial in a few weeks but another witness has been murdered and a friend has been framed. Travis prosecuted DeCarlo the first time and is now faced with the retrial and keeping Maggie safe. He's always been fond of Maggie and though he likes the changes she's made physically, he still finds her "as contrary as a weed in a tulip patch" . Maggie is an exasperation to Travis, who likes to be in control. This was a great story. It has the suspense I love. Maggie and Travis are perfect together. see also A Christmas Kiss by Caroline Burnes - HI-399 The Valentine Hostage by Dawn Stewardson - HI-406 |
