Fun Reading but Nothing More,
By tom "Tom" (New York, NY) - See all my reviews
This review is from: New York Echoes: Stories of Love, Joy, Tragedy and Glory in New York City (Paperback)
I read this book for my book club. I found the stories nice, light reading with some definitely hitting home as a young father. Some of the characters seemed a little ridiculous, especially those in the two related to 9-11 and the divorce case. The best story was the one about the dog and the writer. The author's age was apparent in his writing which provided me with insights into the thoughts and views of his generation but made any mention of sex a little awkward. Overall I would recommend it to someone who is looking for something that isn't very serious.
