Product Description

From the Manufacturer

It's a sue-or-be-sued world, so why hold back? So Sue Me!(tm) is the game where you sue your friends, take their stuff and enjoy the wackiness of today's lawsuits. A spin of the wheel or roll of the die and some clever negotiating help you acquire businesses, file outrageous lawsuits, and bluff your way to big bucks. Settle or go to trial in a multi-million dollar case. You could make a fortune or go broke. Hire your friends as lawyers and seize assets! Drive others into bankruptcy and win the game! Legal knowledge not required. Or even desirable.

Product Description

Your dentist just replaced your old fillings, but now you can't contact the mother ship anymore! Must be that new metal is interfering with your implant. Don't get mad, get even and sue, sue, sue! You'll own that dentist's office in no time. But be careful, if the defendant doesn't want to settle and the judge thinks your claim is frivolous, you could end up bankrupt or worse, a lawyer! In this hilarious, tongue-in-cheek game, players vie for control of property by suing their opponents. Players will buy insurance, pay off lawyers, go to court, work their way out of bankruptcy and manipulate those unfair advantages along the way. So go ahead and sue your friends, take their stuff! Game contains game board with spinner, 10-sided die, lawsuit cards, fortune cards, unfair advantage cards, colored tokens, play money (including the fabled one million dollar bill), and instructions. For 2-5 players or teams of players.

Funny & fun as hell. I gave it to my daughter, who's pre-law. Turns out the game has nothing to do with law, though you do get to sue people for crazy things like "coffee spilled in your lap so cold it causes frostbite." My 10-year old loves it too. I give it a 9 out of 10.

5.0 out of 5 stars Pleasant Surprise, September 29, 2004

I call this a pleasant surprise because I wasn't expecting that much; I bought this game for my wife as kind of a joke because she's a litigator. We sat down to play and who'd've thought it would end up being a really cool game? It has elements reminiscent of Monopoly but it's a totally modern game -- there's a good bit of competition and bluffing. I think it's really a game for 3 or more people because with two there are some things you can't do (like be another player's lawyer, which my wife and I thought was really funny), but we still had a lot of fun. The actual things that happen to you -- the reasons you sue -- are very cute. Anyhow, it's refreshing that there's finally a new game that isn't just trivia or Cranium or some variation thereof!

2.0 out of 5 stars Not Worth $29, January 4, 2007

I bought this game for my nine year old son because he loves working with money and loves the game Monopoly. He likes this game, but I found it a little long and boring. If you wheel and deal and negotiate side deals, you can make it more fun. The first time we played it was just the two of us, and it was not fun and the bank ran out of money. We played again with four people and it was a better game. I was diappointed in the quality of the game board and markers, and think it is quite over-priced at $29.
