5.0 out of 5 stars Introspective, thoughtful, artful music
This CD was recorded during a live performance in NYC by a talented guitarist/singer/songwriter. The lyrics serve as a window into the musician's heart and soul. Dobson's voice is perfectly complimented by his excellent guitar playing, and LeFebvre's bass adds color and depth to the performance.

This is a cd by Richard Hal Dobson (of whom I've never heard), not Richard Dobson (the Houston singer songwriter/Townes Van Zandt running buddy/author of Gulf Coast Boys).

While some of the songs on the CD are pretty mellow and introspective, rather reminiscent of David Wilcox or James Taylor, others have edgier feel. My personal favorite is track 8, "Used to be Two of a Kind," but, in all fairness, all of the songs demonstrate Dobson's artistry and intelligence.
