Product Description
New York Post for Tablet
Tabloid-style headlines greet you from the home screen
New York Post for Tablet
Page Six is your source for celebrity news and gossip

In print since 1801, the New York Post is the oldest continually published daily newspaper in America. Now you can use your Android tablet to get the best headlines, sports coverage, and celebrity gossip from The Post.

The Post On the Go

The New York Post is committed to providing you with hard-hitting news coverage, bold headlines, world-class gossip and the best sports in town in a new digital experience. Read The Post anywhere, anytime--each morning on your way to work, over a sandwich at lunch, or during the evening commute home. The New York Post App provides a new way to experience The Post's award-winning coverage. In each day's edition, you will find all the key sections of the newspaper--News, Page Six, Opinion, Pulse, Business, and Sports.

Get Your Gossip Here First

Page Six is famous for its up-to-the-minute, leave-no-stone-unturned approach to celebrity events. If a celebrity is in the headlines or making news, you can bet you'll find timely information about him or her in this section.

The Best Sports in Town

Whether you're looking for news on the Yankees or curious about which free agent the Jets or Giants are going to sign, The Post's coverage of New York sports is second to none.

Picture-perfect

Always striking and often provocative, the photo slideshows are easy to get lost in. View compelling pictures covering such topics as news, celebrities, sports, and entertainment. Especially notable is Post Pix, an app-exclusive photo gallery featuring the day's top photos. Who knows what you'll find? One look and you'll be hooked.

Important Notes

From within the app, the New York Post offers 14 days of free content for first-time subscribers with each of these three subscription options: one month at $9.99, six months at $54.99, or one year at $99.99--up to 68% off the newsstand price! This app lets you purchase digital content using actual money. You can configure parental controls for in-app purchases, which will require your Amazon account password or a 4-digit PIN, by going to the Settings menu from within the Amazon Appstore. This app is currently only available for the Kindle Fire and other 7" tablets with similar resolution, but will be available for larger Android tablets in the near future.

5.0 out of 5 stars Well Done!! March 7, 2012

I had been waiting for the New York Post for the Kindle for quite some time. I installed the app, paid for the subscription and am very happy with the quality. I really do not think that the price per month is too much for what you get, which is pretty much the complete paper including the high quality pictures. I would highly recommend this app.

Another free app that really isn't free. Download was free, but they want money to use it. Never used it, never will. Instant delete.

4.0 out of 5 stars Very good January 23, 2012

IF you pay for the subscription, this app is the best rendering of a newspaper to a tablet. You get the pictures, the headlines, the "feel" of reading the paper. Nice job. Subscription is too expensive.

1.0 out of 5 stars Horrible June 19, 2012

This app has not worked right since I started using back in January. Now, I'm totally frustrated. Every morning I lose 10 minutes of my life frustratingly downloading that day's news (it shutsdown, it's not available yet). When I'm commuting home and want to read what I downloaded that morning, it tells me I need the internet to open it. I've had it. I want my money back and Amazon should pull this app as my anger reflects back on the Kindle. On the iPad, it works fine.

1.0 out of 5 stars NOT FREE December 30, 2012

A misleading description that will end up costing you money. Be prepared for a monthly bill if you download this "free" app.

Very good when they bother to send the tablet edition. Otherwise, you're on your own re the laughable lack of tech or customer support.

1.0 out of 5 stars NY Post - so, so.
The online version is just as good or better than this app. A little difficult to navigate. I will stick to the on line version or buy the paper at the newsstand.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for former New Yorkers!
My husband and I both enjoy this app! It is easy to navigate. We enjoy the content as much as we used to when we lived in the Big Apple! It's a daily read for both of us!
