This screen is as tough as they say. After re-screening my porch several times in the 15 years I have been here I used this pet screening at the suggestion of a friend. The cats climb it as if it was part of their play regimen and it doesn't budge or tear. I have had it up for going on 1 year now. Doesn't waver when the wind blows and is as taught as the day I put it up. It was no harder to put up than regular screening. It is darker than regular screen and a tad thicker, but that provides a bit more privacy (my neighbor complains because now she cannot see on to our porch as well) and we can see out into the yard with only a very minimum amount less clarity.
