It's my fourth year using this calendar as my daily "book." The pages are thick so your writing doesn't bleed through to the opposite page, and it's nice to have the cartoons to read when you're stuck somewhere with nothing to read. It's the exact same calendar they sell in the New Yorker Magazine (without your name engraved on the cover) -- but almost half the price.

The size and layout is very usable...however content is too limited to
N.Y.C. I'm out west so it is of no benefit or use to have access to the the maps, dining, lodging and entertainment guides..... Could use a list of holidays for '09 & '10 and another pocket or two. If you're a "local" you'll love it!!! Maybe. BEJ
