An Essential Collection,
By Kati Nanstad (Seattle, WA USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The New Yorker Book of Poems (Hardcover)
If you love poetry that dazzles, if you are a poet and are looking for a rich volume to read and inspire your writing, I highly recommend this big book. These poems were published decades ago but most are fresh and vibrant today. You'll find well crafted poems to savor, think about, learn from. Such a variety of talent and voices! This is an essential collection that I'll return to over and over.
