I'm not a New Yorker, and I don't read the magazine frequently. BUT -- I love this calendar! I've purchased it yearly for a long time and am never disappointed in the cartoons or in the attractive design of the facing pages, which start with full-column Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday on the left-hand page and finish with full-column Thursday and Friday on the right-hand page, followed by half-column Saturday stacked atop half-column Sunday. The left-hand page has ample room for notes, the right-hand page features a cartoon from the magazine, and each spread shows three months at a glance: the previous, the current, and the next. The book is hard bound, with a beautiful, functional, sturdy spiral binding which allows the pages to lie flat. I've never encountered a better desktop calendar.

I have used the New Yorker Desk Diaries for several years. Very user friendly, and I enjoy the cartoons and a good morning chuckle each day.
They are less expensive through Amazon than ordered from the New Yorker offices and the only disadvantage is no choice of color, which matters not to me. Was happy to find it available through Amazon.

We have been using this New Yorker desk diary for more years than I can count. We can clip our theater, opera and orchestra tickets on the appropriate pages. Not only that but I can purchase this diary at dollars off the New Yorker price from Amazon. Good show

I love this desk diary. It's easy to use, well-organized and fun. The product features are already well described by others. The version available from Amazon.com is the same version that's available from the New Yorker online store, but you don't get a choice of colors or personalization with your name on the cover. Oh well. It's also $30 cheaper on Amazon if you don't mind giving up those extras. Otherwise, it's the same desk diary.

I've used this desk diary for many years, once a good friend initially made a gift of it to me. Aside from the fact that it has all manner of information concerning New York City (which I use only occasionally and not as much as I would like), every day of the week is clearly marked with plenty of space to jot down appointments and notes. The special perk in this desk diary is that each week page has one of the famous New Yorker magazine cartoons, which almost invariably make me laugh on Monday, when I arrive to my office and turn the page of the desk diary. It's something to look forward to every week!

I get this from Amazon early every year. I keep it by my desk and make notes of all appointments and other
important dates. The pages are durable so I often staple papers that pertain to that time. It is very, very
helpful. I rely on it to help me remember things.

I bought this lovely desk diary for my wife who writes EVERYTHING down. She loves it and I love the cartoons. It will be on the kitchen table so the whole family can keep up to date with the weeks schedule.

A useful gift, of good quality, and with the best New Yorker cartoons of the year. Now you don't have to feel guilty for not having read every single cartoon in the New Yorker magazine.
