5.0 out of 5 stars New Zealand
Once again money well spent. You can't beat being able to see a video of the place you are about to pay vacation dollars to go to. The photography is excellent and the background information was very helpful.. You can edit your vacation plans from your chair without having to go around the world to be in the wrong place. The video was great I will watch it over and over...

1.0 out of 5 stars Poor quality control!
This looks like it might have been an interesting video, but it suffers from some severe defects. First, it is only about an hour long but it is split over two tapes (the box touts it as a "2 tape set"). Not only that, but they are recorded at LP (slow) speed, so there is only a small amount of tape on each cassette and the video is of less than stellar quality...

The video was great I will watch it over and over to help me further plan my trip. And for those who wonder what is New Zealand all about, you will be able to have a great knowledge of the country just from one video experience. I am thrilled to have this one in my library. It will also serve as a great memory after I return from my trip.

This looks like it might have been an interesting video, but it suffers from some severe defects. First, it is only about an hour long but it is split over two tapes (the box touts it as a "2 tape set"). Not only that, but they are recorded at LP (slow) speed, so there is only a small amount of tape on each cassette and the video is of less than stellar quality.
More problematic is the fact that on the first tape, they forgot to add in the voice track. The music and sound effects tracks are there, but the narration is missing. (You can hear the music and sound effects being dimmed where the narration is supposed to be.) The narration is included on the second tape but the sound quality is marginal.
I tried contacting the manufacturing using the Web site address on the box, but it returned a "not found" error.
So you probably want to look at alternatives to this tape.
