Looks Nice on paper but never received one that worked, November 17, 2010
This review is from: NewAir AW320ED 32 Bottle Dual Zone Thermoelectric Wine Cooler With Dual Temperature Zones
I really wanted to like this product, but I could not receive one that actually worked. The first one I received had a huge dent in it. The second one did not cool correctly. The third one has broken glass and cut my finger. I had enough at this point. Their customer service was poor. It took a long time to get my refund. They first told me that they could not refund my amazon account. They said they would have to send me a check. Then 2 weeks later, they credited my amazon account. I did finally get my money, but needless to say, I will never buy anything from this company again. They don't know how to ship a working product or to promptly solve customer issues.

You get what you pay for. Junk., November 10, 2010
This review is from: NewAir AW320ED 32 Bottle Dual Zone Thermoelectric Wine Cooler With Dual Temperature Zones
I was very hesitant to buy a product that was not actually sold by Amazon, but I did it anyway to save a few dollars. BAD MOVE.
The product arrived over two weeks after I ordered it. That was the first bad sign. Opened it and noticed that it smelt slightly funky. Thought nothing of it. It did not appear that it was a brand new product, there were some fingerprints on the glass and some of the packaging appeared to be unwrapped before. It also seemed very odd that the door frame had three screwholes on it when it only required two for the handle bar. It was ugly but not a big deal. Not wanting the hassle of trying to return it, I proceeded to use it.
I put in about 10 bottles of wine in both compartments and left it on overnight. The temperature was set to 52degrees on both. The next morning I checked on it and it appeared that only one compartment was cooling. The left compartment was completely at room temperature. I decided to leave it on for the rest of the day. By night, no change. one side was clearly not working. Even better, the side that was working had a temperature display that was going haywire. It displayed some odd blinking lights, almost like some sci-fi alien doomsday device. Eventually by the next day, both compartments were officially dead. Called customer service for the manufacturer which in itself was laughable. Completely unhelpful and a waste of effort. I'm in the process of repacking this piece of plastic and metal and will have no choice but to deal with this outfit where the unit was purchased.
Not really upset, but I will never again risk all my time and effort just to save a little money. All I can say is caveat emptor.

Positive transaction from Air & Water through Amazon for a great wine cooler, June 18, 2009
This review is from: NewAir AW320ED 32 Bottle Dual Zone Thermoelectric Wine Cooler With Dual Temperature Zones
I looked everywhere from Costco to Wine Stores trying to find a perfect wine cooler before a friend suggested Amazon. That's where I came across the NewAir AW320ED. This is a VERY nice unit! I previously purchased the Cuisinart before this one, but sent ended up returning it since it was so loud. I bought this one, and I couldn't be happier. It has a lot of great features that the Cuisinart did not and, in my opinion, looks nicer.
First, its very quiet compared to the Cuisinart. It has dual zones so I can store my growing collection of both red and white wines. I love that it doesn't make more noise as my refrigerator. It also has screw-in feet that can be used to level it. This was particularly helpful with the textured travertine floor in my kitchen. Although, it's not a big deal unless your floors are not quite level like mine.
It has a nice LED light on the interior that is much brighter than the Cuisinart light. It cast a nice blue ray so I can easily find my wine for the night. I really like the touch screen controls as well. The temperature ranges are easily controlled with a touch of a button. It was also super easy to setup.
The unit even included a one year warranty, which help make my decision to purchase the unit. So far it has been about 5 months since I've had the cooler, and my wife and I are really pleased.
For about the same price as the Cuisinart, this is a much better unit. Buy it!
