It gives a weight reading - what more do you want?

Unlike some others .. it gives the same measurement if you weigh yourself more than once - which gives you a certain amount of confidence.

This scale was low-priced and works great. Couldn't have bought a better one at a better price. Worth every penny!

I was glad to read the negative reviews - you know "misery loves company". Like the others my digital scale worked like a charm when I first received it. It continued to work well the first month. (I weigh once per week) Today, after a full week of dieting, it began showing readings of "Err" and indicated overload - would not give me anything resembling my weight. I too am unable to return - no box or packing slip- so this was an expensive lesson. Reading all the reviews it seems you either get one that's very good or a lemon. Randy

I bought this scale specifically to bring with me when I travel. I considered other scales sold on Amazon but decided on this one because it was one of the lightest. I am thrilled with its performance. I have it on a trip with me right now and it is a breeze to pack in my luggage. It is also very accurate and very consistent. What more can you ask of a scale?! Highly recommend.

I had a total knee replacement three years ago and the Physical Therapist and Nurse came to visit me for several months following the surgery. I was retaining fluid in the knee, in the leg, in the feet. I was just one giant puffball of fluid it felt like and the Nurse was totally unhappy with the whole picture. She wanted to weigh me. Well, I had thrown my old scale out and did not have one. But she was quite pushy about this scale thing, so I ordered one from Amazon. This one struck me as just the right thing to get. It was not terribly expensive and would tell the urequieted nurse how much I weighed from day to day and visit to visit. Anything to hush her up and make life easier.
The scale arrived in 2 days with a functional battery and we were off on the race to chase the weight. The scale performed Marvelously. I weighed less than I had weighed in years. Everyone should have such a scale. Actually, my knee had bothered me so long that I had lost a great deal of weight. The scale was accurate.
But with the use on water pills, my weight did go down and this was immediately measureable with said scale.
It is now 3 years later and the little machine continues to perform admirably. It has had to get a new battery, but battery size is written right on its case which is great. That way I do not have to try to keep up with the battery after I remove it. Also, Walgreens across the street carries the battery and once inserted, the machine was back to working.
Unfortunately, the numbers it now registers are a bit higher than they were. I have gotten my knee in order with the water out of it. I am able to get around and get into more food than needed, so I still need the little dickens to keep me in line.
I have loved it though I loathed having to buy it. It is accurate to a fault and is simple to work. Pop in a battery and it does what was intended. I could not have a better scale unless it was one of those antique kind that somehow work on pressure when you stand on them thus requiring no battery. But as I recall from days of old, that type was notoriously inaccurate. So best to have this kind. So grit your teeth and we will all hop on together. Hope your scale is as good to you as mine has been.

Alright, maybe it was just my luck with this one, but our scale hardly ever works. It says there's supposed to be a low battery indicator, but it's never appeared on my scale when it DOES work... which is rarely. No, it's not because I'm stepping on it wrong to get it to turn on, or anything funky like that. There is honestly just something wrong with it. I gave it two stars, though, because on the times when it DOES work it's pretty accurate.

Our dependable, multiple year-old Health-O-Meter finally failed, and in our haste and on account of free shipping, we opted to get this, seemingly better spec'd scale.
What a joke. The numbers are almost impossible to read, even in good light; black on grey background. When you bend down without moving to read them, the numbers you are able to make out change. Even so, the numbers make no sense. The Health-O-Meter corresponded nicely and consistentley with the high end physician's scale at my gym. This thing comes no where near accurate or even reasonable. I am not even going to give it to a thrift shop - into the trash it goes. Do Not Buy this Hunk of Junk!

Turing on the scale with a tap of the foot often results in an error or low battery signal. Have to do it a few times to get it to start properly. Scale is difficult to read (no way at night) as there is no backlight. Weight is accurate and for the price not a bad unit.

Its simple design allows to weigh almost any thing and is accurate enough for its price
