In addition to all the features contained in previous versions of CD-Maker, version 5.1 features a redesigned user interface that makes it easier than ever to burn your important data to a CD.

Compelling features include a convenient usage bar that tells you exactly how much room is left on your disc, and a powerful Disc Info & Tools utility where you can read and compare individual data tracks and files. Also included is FileCD, a complete utility used for drag-and-drop packet writing, and an ultra-simple CD copy function.

The Extreme Audio section is one of the most popular features of CD-Maker Deluxe. Highlights include decoding your MP3 files into WAV or CD-DA tracks, encoding your CD-DA tracks or WAV tracks into MP3 files, optimizing the sounds of your disc using the pop/click/hiss filter, and the ability to view how much time is left on your CD. It also features live audio recording to CD from LP, tape, stereo, or microphone.
