Newborn Baby Pea in The Pod Halloween Costume, 0-6 Months

I thought this costume looked cute and the price was right. However, the quality is very poor and the material is itchy. When I took it out of the package one of the peas immediately fell off. When I contacted Brands on Sale about a return they gave me an authorization number, but they will not cover the shipping coasts either way. So all in all my refund will be around $8 and I spent $28 with shipping.

I thought this was very cute i bought it for my son when he was a baby for his first Halloween. The fabric is very thin and feels like it could rip easy, the foam peas keep falling off and they kept getting in my sons face the real size of this would be more like 4-6 months way to big for a 0 month old baby. the hat was itchy on my son so we had to put another hat under it. i thought it was cute but i really didn't think it was worth it

Costume was very cute but it did run a little big. I guess that is ok though, since it is for newborn babies and some newborns are bigger then others. After adding a pair of pajamas underneath it fit just fine. Thank you.

I paid more for shipping this item than the item itself. It was very cute, however, it was falling apart the minute I took it out of the bag. Very poor quality! Luckily, I had extra velcro pieces in my sewing kit and was able to stick the peas back on the costume.

This costume is cute, but not very well made. The velcro on the "peas" is stronger than the glue holding it. I had to reglue the velcro onto the styrafoam several times.
The body of the "pod" is extremely big for 0-6 months, however the hat that came with it just barely fit my 3 month old. The strap under the chin was very snug.

It's precious, but was a little big for my granddaughter who was born Oct. 19th. She can probably wear it again for Mardi Gras.

This is an adorable costume. The quality is poor with thin material and missing/ poor velcro on the peas. However, I read this in the other reviews so I was prepared. I'm still glad I ordered it as the babes looked adorable and you really don't need a Halloween costume to last long. Had to replace all the Velcro before we used it and even then we lost the peas throughout the night repeatedly as the Velcro wouldn't hold.

This costume is adorable! The only problem is that the velcro came off of one of the peas, so we just super glued it back on. Everyone loved this costume!

This costume looked very cute, and was a good fit for my 2 month old (23 inches long and 11.5 lbs). It wasn't too uncomfortable for him, and he tolerated it very well. When I took it off, I could see that the velcro closing in the back had irritated his neck a little bit, but it couldn't have been too bad, because he didn't complain. The little hat was just adorable and really made the outfit.

This is an absolutely adorable costume and well worth the money but it has a couple of drawbacks:

- Had to sew the peas on permanently - the velcro fasteners fell off (they were just glued on).
- It's enormous, so it didn't really fit my daughter until she was 9 months old.

That said, there's nothing quite as touching yet entertaining as seeing your baby dressed in a peas-in-a-pod costume...it really makes the "aawww's" come out.

Also, in case you can't decide what to dress your baby in for the first Halloween:
I was debating whether to dress her as a bunny or as peas and a friend said, "she can always be a bunny, but it seems to me she can only be a peapod her first year." Good advice. Somehow almost symbolic of life's early journey itself.
