Decent but not perfect, at least for MacBook,

I only bought this to take apart my MacBook so I can upgrade the hardisk and memory.
The small philips tips werent as snug a fit as I hoped, and required alot of pressure to prevent it from stripping the screws. I ended up using a Craftmans philips that worked better, but after the philips screw already had been stripped a bit. The torx drivers fit well, I just wish the philips was a little more precise.

I received a Belkin Computer Toolkit Belkin F8E062 55-Piece Computer Tool Kit with Black Case (Demagnetized Tools) last Christmas and have used it several times. The one thing it really lacked though was a good, solid Torx, Phillips and flat head miniature driver set. I need screwdrivers that were small and sturdy enough to handle those tiny little computer screws in Macs and PC's without stripping them.
I was removing a keyboard on a Dell laptop to replace it and realized just how important the sturdiness of a small precision screwdriver was. I nearly stripped the screw with my Belkin toolkit because the precision kit was rather cheaply made. The NewerTech 11 Piece Computer Toolkit does not try to do everything like my Belkin kit does ... but what these little precision screwdrivers do, they do well. I am happy that I made the extra investment in this set to adjunct my other toolkit. I highly recommend these if you do any type of laptop, (Mac or PC), tower or even game system work. They are nice and solid. 5 stars.

This tool kit is decent quality and has all of the smaller sized tips needed for PC work. I picked this up to work on my various desktops, laptops, and iPods that we have at home in our small business.The tools include: Straight Blade Screw Drive 1.8mm, Straight Blade Screw Driver 3.0mm, Phillips Head Screw Driver #00, Phillips Head Screw Driver #2, Torx Head Driver T6, Torx Head Driver, T8 Torx Head Driver, T10 Scissor Clamp (Hemostat), Tweezers, and (2) Nylon Pry Tools ("Spudgers"). These come in a fairly nice padded Carrying Case that closes with a zipper. The spudgers (useful for removing iPod screens) are nice but, as noted in the product description, will not last and are not covered by the warranty. I damaged one of my spudgers the first time using it on an iPod Touch. Overall I am pleased with this set. Recommended! CFH
